About Miriah
After suffering from post-concussive migraines for most of her life, Miriah sought acupuncture care, and was amazed at the results.
Miriah attended University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, where she graduated with a bachelors of Science in Biology, and a minor in Chemistry. She then went on to obtain her masters degree with extensive training in patient care. After 3000 hours of internships throughout the Twin Citites in locations such as UMMC, Salvation Army, WoodWinds, and The Penny George Institute, and 3 years (year-round) of studies, Miriah graduated in the top of her class!
After obtaining her masters of acupuncture and herbal medicine at Northwestern Health Sciences University, Miriah continues to stay up to date on the latest research and information to best treat her patients. Licensed by the state of Minnesota Meical Board, and on the National Level with The NCCAOM (National Certification Commision for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) Miriah completes the required 60 hours of continuing education every 3 years, ensuring she is practiced in the most up to date methods, techniques, and education.
Miriah has had success in treating patients with many conditions including musculoskeletal pain, anxiety, insomnia, infertility, pre-natal conditions, and neuropathy among many others.
Miriah is the owner of Alloy Acupuncture in Woodbury, Minnesota. Alloy Acupuncture was born of the concept of melting Eastern medical techniques and concepts with Western knowledge and thought.
Miriah is sought out for the areas of auto accident injuries and fertility support by patients, because of her gentle needling technique and relaxing treatments. Patients report feeling heard, relaxed, and better after acupuncture treatments.
